Fast-a-thon & Iftaar with the KULeuven Lifestance Network

Fasting can take many forms and finds a place in a myriad of faiths and traditions.
On Thursday evening 23 May, the KU Leuven LifeStance Network invites you to an evening exploring and celebrating these diverse traditions, complete with a traditional Muslim meal to break the fast in this month of Ramadan.
Representatives of the various Leuven religious communities (Catholic, Anglican, Protestant, Muslim, Jewish, Baha’i, Hindu) will give short presentations on what fasting means to them and in their religious tradition, followed by a panel Q&A with the audience.
After the traditional Muslim sunset prayer, you are heartily invited to enjoy snacks prepared by the various religious communities.
You are welcome to fast this day, as per your own faith & traditions, and join in the experience!
