“Children were brought to Jesus that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked them, but Jesus said, ‘Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’ After he placed his hands on them, he went away.”

On Sunday 5 February 2023, our Eucharistic celebration featured the little children baptized since February 2022. For the first time, we did this together with the community of Sint Pieter’s. Parents with their children took part in the entrance procession, and children themselves had the opportunity to read the intercessions. At the end of the celebration, Fr Tuli offered special prayers for the children and their parents.
Afterwards, we had the opportunity to eat crepes (pancakes) in the Sint-Kwintenshuis according to time-honored Flemish custom.
