On Sunday 16 March, we again welcomed our catechumens to Sint Kwinten for the celebration of the Rite of Scrutiny, a series of prayers for those preparing for baptism as adults during the Easter Vigil. Regretfully, Alba and Hannah could not attend. Devansh, Yiji, Tong, and Dongqi had the full support of their godparents and an entire faith community.
After the celebration we had the opportunity to listen to the faith stories of two young women, Romy from the Netherlands and Stella from China, who shared why they became Catholic. Both, with their own very inspiring story, helped us see that the story of Jesus and his community is very much alive today, also with us.
