African Solidarity Sunday

AFRICAN SOLIDARITY SUNDAY
On Sunday 8 December, our community will offer the 9:00 Mass in solidarity with the African members of our community for the intention of peace and stability in Africa.
The home countries of many of our brothers and sisters have been wrought with violence, terrorist attacks against churches, the killing of innocent and unarmed people, and political imprisonments occurring daily.
Our prayer is for God to deliver these countries, to bring them peace and justice, and to restore the respect and dignity these countries deserve.
After the Mass, African refreshments will be offered at hospitality. African members of the community are warmly invited to wear their native clothing.
