Father David Tulimelli (Fr Tuli), sdb (°1982) is originally from Andhra Pradesh in southeast India. He entered the Congregation of the Salesians of Don Bosco in 1997 and made his final vows in Khartoum, Sudan in 2006. Ordained a priest in 2010 in Vijayawada, India, from 2013 to 2018, Fr. Tuli was responsible for a camp for internally displaced people in South Sudan. He also shared the responsibilities of the diocese as a dean and consultor of the diocese, as well as the responsibilities of the province of the Salesians animation team as one of the team members.

In 2018, Fr. Tuli came to study at KU Leuven, where he completed his research masters in pastoral theology and currently is pursuing his doctoral studies at the same faculty. He is a member of the Sint-Kwinten community team since 2021 and has several pastoral ministries in the community.
